About the drama classes

Classes include Text work, Voice, Voice Overs, Physical Theater, Camera work, Research, preparation and presentation of Audition material, sight reading, etc. Written work is always relevant to an actor’s necessary private and preparatory study. Children are encouraged to work sensibly towards finding their own ‘system’.
A major aspect of Aspire Drama Club will be our regular small stage productions; all held in-house on our very own stage, giving parents an opportunity to observe our work. This will also give children a real sense of achievement.

Our Drama sessions always require good time management and self –discipline and (absenteeism is unhelpful in what is essentially a collaborative activity). Please ensure that any time-off is unavoidable.

In planning the curriculum we will work towards incorporating positive opportunities for all children reflecting diversity and addressing issues of race, culture, gender and disability offering each child equal access to support, development and learning.
